Description of the qualities:
Cordierit-M 6 quality distinguishes itself by it spalling resistance, volume stability and good load bearing properties. By temperatures up to 1350º C Mullidurit-M 9 quality is used.
The Sillagit-M 14 quality is being used by temperature up to 1370º C.
Cordierit-K 78 quality is especially suitable for its good abraison resistance and sliding properties.
Sillagit-S 115 quality distinguishes itself in rapid pusher furnaces having small pushing distances, but long retention time.
Areas of usage:
Porcelain rockery-, electric porcelain-, sanitary porcelain-, wall and floor tile-, ceramic-, tile and grinding wheel industries.
The physical data are very dependent on the shape and are influenced by kiln atmosphere, pushing time, firing time and load.
The values shown as guide-values.

Description of the qualities:
Goebelit SIC-qualities are very resistant mate
rials at high temperature with very good conduc
tivity, volume stability, torsion resistant and load
bearing.
A well adherent, non glazing and oxidation resistance engobe is a further advantage for long
retention times.
Areas of usage are:
Porcelain crockery-, electric porcelain-, sanitary
porcelain-, wall and floor tile-, grinding wheel-,
insulator-, steatite-, ferrite- and steel industries.
The physical data are very dependent on the shape and are influenced by kiln atmosphere,
pushing time, firing time and load.
